What Is the Elmiron Eye Disease Lawsuit?

What Makes Elmiron Dangerous?

However, upon further research, it was discovered that all six of these women had taken Elmiron. 

While it is unknown at this time how Elmiron causes maculopathy, further studies conducted in 2018 and 2019 provided further support for the link between this eye disease and the drug. 

Although the evidence of the link between maculopathy and taking Elmiron continues to increase, eye disease is still not listed as a possible side effect by the manufacturer of Elmiron. As a result, millions of people may be at risk if they are using this drug.
